Behavioral Assessments

DISC Behavioral Assessments

Knowledge of oneself is the biggest modifier of behavior.

What is DISC?

DISC is the universal language of observable human behavior, or "how we act". DISC does not measure education, experience, values or intelligence. It simply measures an individual's behaviors, or how they communicate.

The Application of DISC

With the knowledge of DISC, you can learn to understand and appreciate your behavior style, and then adapt your style in communication with others. In fact, you can change the golden rule. Rather than treating others as you would want to be treated, you can treat others the way they want to be treated.

How DISC is Measured

Success Insights' DISC assessment accurately measures four dimensions of behavior, which are each associated with a behavioral style:

How you respond to problems or challenges Dominance
How you influence others to your point of view Influence
How you respond to the pace of the environment Steadiness
How you respond to rules and procedures Compliance

The results of Success Insights' DISC assessment reveal an individual's high and low placement in each of the four dimensions that make up their unique natural and adapted behavioral styles. This is depicted by two illustrations, Success Insights' Style Insights® Graphs and the Success Insights® Wheel.

Success Insights' Competitive Edge

Success Insights offers the most valid DISC assessment in the marketplace. Our research has proven the value of both the low and high side of each behavioral style, giving us the ability to analyze 384 graph types, compared to as few as 16. In addition, our research has proven the invalid use of Graph III in the industry, allowing Success Insights to more accurately analyze behavioral style. The why of your actions

What is it that causes you to move into action? What are the drivers of your behavior? TTI Task Quotient™

The TTI Task Quotient (TQ®) is a unique and simple online assessment that quickly determines the blend of task types the individual prefers. This blend is determined by a percentage for each of the three task types:

  • Routine Tasks are highly predictable and must be accomplished immediately.
  • Troubleshooting Tasks are highly unpredictable and must also be accomplished immediately.
  • Project Tasks are highly predictable, but do not have to be accomplished immediately.

When used as a job benchmarking tool, the task types required by the job are determined to create alignment between the job and the employee, increasing satisfaction and improving selection and retention.

With the TQ reports and comparison charts, you can define:

  • Ideal and preferred mixture of task types
  • Current job's actual and optimal blend of task types
  • Change needed to move from the actual blend to the preferred blend of task types
  • Action plan to improve job satisfaction
